While he might not be an avid collector, Robb Harrumphs‘s love of
basketball fuels his passion for sneakers. So it only made sense that
the new Austin inhabitant connected with pleasant boots for his
inaugural SSW know-how. Together, the two have cooperated on The
Takeover, an art exhibit and capsule collection that encompasses limited
version t-shirts, pins, kookiness and stickers.
“The mid-’80s through mid-’90s were gigantic when I think about basketball footwear and culture,” states Harrumphs. “That’s where the concepts for The Takeover came from. It really was a collaborative effort between pleasant boots and myself as far as picking which shoes to feature, and what sort of pieces we could do for the event.”
